Team State Finalist and Excellence Award at 2020 States

Robotics is something that I have been pursuing for quite a while now. I took my very first introductory robotics class in fifth grade and haven't stopped since. In middle school, I took VEX and VEX IQ classes in programming robot C, C++, CAD (with Fusion 360), and building at a local robotics center, Robot Revolution (in Summit, NJ). During high school, I continued to pursue my interests in VEX robotics by joining my school's team as a coder, builder and leading the engineering design notebook.

7405M Encore Challenge Submission: Our 2020-2021 update!

During my past three years of competing in VEX, my team qualified for the state championship competition. In 2018 and 2019, winning the New Jersey State Judges Award and in March 2020, double qualifying for VEX Worlds by winning tournament finalists and the highest judged team award, the Excellence Award (team #7405M). Unfortunately, the VEX World Championships that were planned for May 2020 were canceled due to the pandemic. I am currently Millburn's first female VEX captain and am very excited about this upcoming year!

My favorite aspects of robotics include working with a team and problem-solving. Here are some pics of our World Championship qualified bot for the 2020 year :)
