Girl Tech Boss
I formed Girl Tech Boss, which is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with my partner Molly Cantillon aiming to educate, support, and connect middle and high school girls interested in entrepreneurship in STEM industries.
By creating both an online platform, as well as hosting events, Girl Tech Boss is impacting the next generation of females in tech and business. We are so excited to see what the future holds for this organization and the girls we impact through it!
I teach VEX robotics programming and building classes, edit our YouTube videos and maintain the social media pages. While my position allows me to mentor, my role also affords me the opportunity to learn from and connect with the female leaders in technology whom we invite to work with us.
This summer, GTB partnered with Font Femme and Bit by Bit NYC to offer a two-day, free virtual “EntrepreneuHER Make-a-thon” that brought together a community of 1041 young women from 44 countries, teaching both technical skills — like web development and 3D printing —as well as entrepreneurial strategies.
